This week I’m spotlighting Tower Hill https://www.activeadultsdelaware.com/neighborhood/tower-hill/, a wonderful new neighborhood east of Route 1 that’s being built by the Carl Freeman Companies to exist in harmony with nature. As a result we have tremendous flooding in low-lying areas, with long stretches of roads either closed or significantly limited in the amount of traffic they’ll accommodate. On days like this it’s fairly easy for us to convince homebuyers to get the facts about flood insurance because these familiar places are literally underwater.

It's hard to believe that I have been living in Delaware for nearly 25 years. My first visit here was way back in 1991, and by 1999, I made the decision to make this place my permanent home. The main reason behind my move was for a fresh start. I was looking for new opportunities and a change of scenery. Delaware seemed like the perfect place for that.  Before that, I've lived in a few different places like Pennsylvania, The Netherlands, New Mexico, South Korea, and Maryland.
