This week I’m spotlighting Tower Hill https://www.activeadultsdelaware.com/neighborhood/tower-hill/, a wonderful new neighborhood east of Route 1 that’s being built by the Carl Freeman Companies to exist in harmony with nature. One of my favorite New Year’s resolutions is my commitment to volunteer more, give more, and do more to spread kindness through everyday actions. This year, as I think back on the posts I’ve done about Independent Living options for seniors https://www.activeadultsdelaware.com/blog/posts/2023/11/01/take-a-luxury-cruise-or-move-into-the-lodge-at-truitt-homestead/, I’d like to spotlight one of the best ways to support older folks who want to age in place in the homes they love.
As a result we have tremendous flooding in low-lying areas, with long stretches of roads either closed or significantly limited in the amount of traffic they’ll accommodate. On days like this it’s fairly easy for us to convince homebuyers to get the facts about flood insurance because these familiar places are literally underwater.
