IN NEW CASTLE COUNTY

Named by USA Today as one of the nation’s best restaurants in 2024, Harry’s will offer an Easter brunch buffet from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., along with a la carte dining from 1 to 8 p.m. The buffet will be an extravagant spread that includes prime rib, ham, jumbo lump grab cakes, roasted salmon, smoke salmon, shrimp cocktail, an omelet station, and lots of desserts. The cost is $75 for adults and $25 for kids ages 5 to 12.

Okay fancypants, go for the gold at this luxurious old world eatery, well-known for its Easter Brunch, with a menu full of epicurean delights, including salads with watercress, chanterelle mushrooms, English peas and roasted carrots, lamb loin with flageolet beans, cucumber-mint salsa verde and Castelvetrano tapenade, steak oeufs with grass-fed bavette and many more wonderful items! Here’s a great place for comfort food in a cozy setting, with two Easter seatings at 10:30 and 1:30 p.m. – and with reservations required. You’ll get scrambled eggs with cheese, smoked bacon, sausage, fruits, charcuterie, roast beef and a lot more, including lots of sweets. There’s also a children’s menu with favorites like mac and cheese and chicken tenders.

Here’s another hoppin’ spot in Newark, offering an Easter brunch buffet from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., with a carving station for New York strip steak, rack of lamb and slow-roasted turkey breast. You can also get great seafood, including coconut shrimp, peel-and-eat shrimp, lump crabcakes, bay scallops and mussels marinara. This is just a sampling – the offerings are tremendous, and there are kids dishes too! The cost is $79.95 for adults and $20.95 for kids ages 7 to 12.

This a great place for yummy basics, like made-to-order omelets, pancakes, ham and herb-crusted prime rib, cheese tortellini and salmon and a kids menu with chicken fingers, mac and cheese and other items. The cost is $39.95 for adults and $16.95 for kids aged 5 to 12. Rumor has it the Easter Bunny will pay a visit, and there are six seatings between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m., so contact the restaurant to reserve your table.

This lovely colonial style restaurant in downtown Dover will showcase its upscale comfort food with an Easter brunch from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. All of the gourmet meats come from the Camden-Wyoming Butcher Shop, and the menu is a robust blend of seafoods (including shrimp and grits and crab Benedict) eggs served as you like them and “brunch bowls” blending eggs, meats, cheeses and other savory ingredients. The price is $46 for adults and $26 for children under 12.
