PUT FITNESS IN YOUR FORECAST FOR 2025

Okay couch potatoes – we’ve all had a nice rest during these cold winter months but pretty soon the weather will get warmer, beckoning you to get outside, get in shape, or do both. If you happen to live in Sussex County there are many different types of gyms – including some, like Custom Fit 360 https://www.customfit360delewes.com/, that are  especially suited to folks who want to ease into a fitness regimen and some, like Rise Fitness & Adventure https://www.trainatrise.com/, Midway Motion and Fitness https://www.midwaymotionandfitness.com/ and Everyone Fitness https://everyonefitness.com/ that are a spots for all the folks who really crave the burn either through individual workouts or group activities.

If flexibility and inner peace are what you’re craving, consider:

Sea Barre Fitness https://seabarrefitness.com/home-1007, in Lewes and Millsboro, where both men and women can enjoy a range of workouts including spin cycling, yoga and barre training (which blends stretching, cardio and isometrics for a full-body workout).

Yoga, which is super popular around the beach communities because it builds strength, flexibility and upbeat mindsets in low impact workouts suited for people at all fitness levels https://www.google.com/search?q=Sussex+County+Delaware+Yoga+studios&rlz=1C5CHFA_enUS879US879&oq=Sussex+County+Delaware+Yoga+studios&gs_lcrp=EgZjaHJvbWUyBggAEEUYOTIHCAEQIRigATIHCAIQIRigATIHCAMQIRigATIHCAQQIRigATIHCAUQIRigATIHCAYQIRiSAzIHCAcQIRiSAzIHCAgQIRiSAzIHCAkQIRiSA9IBCTIxNjgwajBqNKgCALACAQ&sourceid=chrome&ie=UTF-8

A great opportunity for figuring out how to incorporate more fitness into your lifestyle happens on Saturday, March 8th, when Delaware Resorts Expos once again hosts its Health-Fitness & Leisure Expo from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Cape Henlopen High School

More than 100 exhibitors will be there, including representatives of Beebe Healthcare, concierge care organizations, holistic healing and wellness organizations, specialists in health and fitness for veterans, nutrition coaches, dental, eye and orthopedic practitioners, pool, spa and hot tub retailers, home care experts and many more.

Admission is free, and revenue from exhibitors will support Pathways to Success, a nonprofit organization that supports underserved and under-resourced students attending Cape Henlopen, Milford, Polytech, Seaford and Sussex Tech high schools. The program’s graduation rate is 98%, with 96% of the students going on to college, getting certified in a trade, enlisting in the military or entering the workforce. Pathways to Success representatives will be on hand to provide details about its programs.
