FREE How-to Clinics on June 18

Free How-to Clinics

Sussex County Habitat for Humanity and longtime national partner Lowes are hosting FREE how-to clinics for women volunteers as part of the ninth annual National Women Build. Habitats Women Build project empowers women across the country to impact the global housing crisis and help low-income families build strength, stability, and self-reliance through housing starting in their own local communities.

We look forward to National Women Build as an opportunity to engage more women in our work, said Kevin Gilmore, Executive Director of Sussex County Habitat. We invite women of all skill levels to join us on build sites and take the clinics hosted by Lowes. Wed love to have them join us annually for Women Build or even more regularly than that as they are able.

Similar clinics are taking place across the country and are open to women interested in volunteering with Habitat. Local clinics will be offered free of charge by Lowes of Lewes, DE at the Sussex County Habitats ReStore 107 Depot Street in Georgetown, DE.
