No New Homes... How can that happen?
Here we are in August of 2014 and we learn that no new homes can be delivered for another 12 15 months at Independence, one of the most popular 55+ communities in Coastal Delaware. If anything illustrates just how busy we have been this year, this one fact tells you a lot. Between 43 and 46 new homes will settle in 2014. That is a significant increase over the 32 homes that settled in 2013 and it frankly sold out the entire first half of this community of new homes for active adults faster than even Schell Brothers forecast.
What do Independence buyers do now?
I know that many of you have been looking at Independence for years. You were waiting to retire or until you had a contract on your home but now youre ready to move and you would prefer not to be homeless for a year or more. Living in limbo is never fun.
