The Story of Milton

The Milton Historical Society is a great source of information on all things Milton, including its early years as a major Shipbuilding town. At the society's web site, you'll find a narrated slideshow that I found very interesting. Milton has survived the demise of the shipbuilding industry, two fires that destroyed much of the downtown in the early 1900s and a major flood. Much of the town has now been restored and the historic architecture is one of the town's main attractions today. View the slideshow!
