Located on the Rehoboth Boardwalk just south of Rehoboth Boulevard, Funland has been a beloved place for fun and games for the past several decades. It’s suitable for kids aged five and up and it’s totally conceivable that eye-rolling teenagers will find lots to love as well. It’s open all week and offers:

Important suggestion: Since parking is limited in downtown Rehoboth, consider visiting later in the afternoon after beachgoers have left for the day. It’s usually easier to park at a meter in the later hours, and since the Haunted Mansion doesn’t open till five you can time it just right.
Located between Lewes and Rehoboth, Midway Speedway Park offers lots of parking and big fun for adults and kids of all ages and can be especially appealing on hot summer days with:

After a day of fun (and noise) and exercise (and exhaustion), nothing could be better than wonderful pub-style food, including local seafood, local craft beers, and live music – especially if your grandkids can have an absolute blast on safe and elaborate playgrounds before and after they wolf down their special kid foods.
That’s the experience at CROOKED HAMMOCK and BIG OYSTER BREWERY, both of which are on Kings Highway near Cape Henlopen High School. Both offer a multitude of craft-brewed beers and wonderful sandwiches, salads, and entrees. What’s best for families though are the playgrounds where kids can have their fun while you linger at your table. Both playgrounds are clean and safe and filled with the stuff they love. You’re going to have a great dinner, your grandkids will have a great time, and you’ll leave wondering “why didn’t someone think of this before now?”
