Every day there seems to be a new fitness craze and a new studio opening. Whether it is a new Barre Studio or Yoga Studio or some type of exercise I've never heard of before, when one opens, it seems like ten more follow! Will they all survive and prosper?
Then there are the ones that have been around for a long time.
Forever Fit Foundation is one of those organizations that has been in existence since 1993.
They now have three locations in the area, one in Rehoboth that is co-located with Rise Fitness, one in Dover and a third in Mendenhall Station, PA, just over the state line. Click here for the exact locations.
Charissa Hines has been in the fitness industry for 25 years. She is a certified personal and group fitness trainer and a Pilates Practitioner. Over the years, I have taken group classes with Charissa and for the past year, I have been taking semi-private Pilates classes with her. I started Pilates after severely bruising my right foot. For months, I would be unable to do most yoga poses or almost anything in my Barre classes. It's amazing how much you need your toes for so many exercises! So I called Charissa and asked her if she could craft a program for me to help me stay in shape while my foot was recovering. Now my husband Bill is going to classes twice a week with me and we both thoroughly enjoy these Pilates sessions.
In addition to Pilates, Forever Fit offers a full range of fitness training, rehabilitation and personalized strength and flexibility programs for athletes. I highly recommend this organization and Charissa in particular. http://www.foreverfitfoundation.org/lewes/
