This Januarys Featured Boomers are Paula and Frank Costanzo. Locals NOW! reports the Costanzos relocated from Marlton, New Jersey where Paula worked in Administrative Services at Camden Iron and Metal and Frank retired from Baxter Pharmaceutical in Maintenance Supervision.
When faced with boomer relocation, the Costanzos had no other place but Coastal Delaware in mind and Milton in particular on their list of areas to consider.
Since moving to the Heritage Creek Neighborhood in Milton in 2010, they are enjoying their new lives in Lower Slower Delaware.
Paula and Frank chose Heritage Creek and according to Paula, we fell in love with the look and feel of the Community. This house was perfect for us. Being locals now, Paula finds time for their grandchildren, baking, organizing and volunteering at Gull House, the Milton Community Food Pantry and with the Alzheimers Association. She loves living in Milton and is very active in the Heritage Creek social scene. Frank enjoys fishing, Franks got a boat so proximity to the water was paramount in choosing our new home. In addition, our daughter and son-in-law and two grandchildren live in Smyrna and Delawares taxes are favorable.
On the Costanzos' Bucket list are jumping out of a plane; travel to the Orient and to catch the big one that got away! They resolve to live a healthy and fit life in 2015.
Editor's Note: Paula and Frank are two of my "most successful retirees" for so many reasons. They have embraced their new life and become the Welcoming Committee, the organizers of picnics on the beach and cookie exchanges among many other activities. As a fisherman, Frank has become the provider of many fish dinners for all of his friends in Heritage Creek. In 2015, I am hoping for at least one fish!
