Real Estate sales are booming throughout the State of Delaware

Realtor.com's Top Housing Markets of 2021 may not include Delaware but sales are going up every year, especially in the Cape Region. Lists like this tend to focus on Metropolitan areas and Delaware has fewer people than most of the top 10.

How's the real estate market in 2011 here in Coastal Delaware? I had a great conversation this afternoon with Gail Alm at Fairway Independent Mortgage and she shared the following news with me:

• Single Family home sales increased by 11% ($) in the 1st quarter of 2011 compared to the 1st quarter of 2010
• Sales of single family homes in the 1st quarter increased by 9% (units) over the same period last
