Construction: many homes have fiber cement siding, 2x6 exterior walls, conditioned crawl spaces and side-load garages. Check the listing for the specific home.
Lots: September 2026 listings show homesites of 0.45 and 0.55 acres.
Recent prices: September 2026 listings run from $650,000 to $1,100,000.

The amenities are shared by the whole community, with the beach and the pool on the water side.
Pool: an outdoor pool overlooking the wetlands.
Clubhouse: a clubhouse with an exercise room.
On the bay: a private sandy beach with a gazebo, a kayak launch and kayak storage.
Trails: walking trails through the community, one of which leads to the beach.
Playground: a playground in the common area.

Bayfront at Rehoboth is built out, and it was built by several builders over about ten years, so no two homes should be judged the same way.
No new homes: there are no lots left from a builder. The only way in is a resale, and in August there were 2 on the market.
Different builders: a home from the early 2010s and a home from the early 2020s can differ in layout, finishes and systems even on the same street.
Lot by lot: homesite size, tree cover and bay views change from lot to lot, and they drive price as much as the house does.

Bayfront at Rehoboth has a Lewes mailing address but sits in unincorporated Sussex County, on the bay south of Route 24.
Beaches: the community's own bay beach is inside the community. Downtown Rehoboth Beach and the ocean are about nine miles away.
Health care: Beebe's Specialty Surgical Hospital is off Route 24, a few miles away, and Beebe's main hospital on Savannah Road in Lewes is about 11 miles away.
Everyday errands: Giant at Lighthouse Plaza on Route 1 and the stores along Route 24.
Schools: Cape Henlopen School District. Confirm school assignments with the district for any specific address.

Bayfront at Rehoboth has one homeowners association for the whole community.
What the fees cover: listings describe the fee as covering lawn care, common-area upkeep, the pool and snow removal.
Recent figures: two September 2026 listings show a fee of $300 a month.
At settlement: check the resale certificate for any one-time fee due to the association when you buy.

Heating and hot water: heat pumps with central air in the homes we have seen listed. One 2026 listing shows propane backup heat and a tankless water heater.

Rules: the association has recorded covenants covering exterior changes and use of the common areas. Confirm them for the specific home.
