My husband and I got in touch with Active Adults Realty because we were interested in retiring on the Delaware Coast. Even though we are not planning to buy a home for at least another year, Kathy Sperl-Bell welcomed us and spent an afternoon talking with us about retiring to the Delaware Coast. The next day, they took us on a tour of the Bethany area, and showed us several communities. We learned so much, and feel much more comfortable making a big decision like this. We now look forward to retiring to the Bethany area, living by the sea, and being closer to our children in Virginia and Southern New Jersey. Been through several real estate transactions over the years. Both buying and selling. This one in Delaware was different in a few ways. Overall I would say that Active Adults Realty was very patient with us, and did their best to accommodate our schedules and requests. Active Adults Realty, on very short notice, took us on a thorough tour to get us acclimated to the DE beaches/towns. They clearly love what they do and is a wealth of information. As this was just an exploratory trip for us, we did not commit to purchasing at this time. Active Adults Realty is phenomenal! When I spoke to Active Adults Realty on the phone from my home in SC they asked me what I knew about DE especially Coastal DE I told them that we have never been to DE. They picked us up at our hotel and drove us around the area all day. We looked at several communities and model homes. Active Adults Realty took us to all of the beaches and explained the different “feel” of each area. They recommended restaurants and sights to see.
