Mike Malone is back at Active Adults Realty, and we are glad to have him. Mike first joined our team in January 2016. He returns with more than 40 years of experience in construction, real estate development and sales.

Mike studied business at the University of Memphis and started his career as an electrician. He went on to build a successful electrical contracting business, became a partner in a custom home building firm, developed parcels of land, and held a Pennsylvania real estate license. He also served fifteen years on his local township zoning board, seven of them as chairman.

That background pays off for his clients. Mike knows how a house goes together. When you are buying new construction, he walks you through each step with the builder, from design selections and the preconstruction meeting to the pre-drywall walk and the final walk through before settlement. When you are buying or selling a resale home, he knows what to look at and what questions to ask before you commit.

Mike made his own move to Delaware in 2015, from Worcester, Pennsylvania to Milton, so he knows the steps his clients are taking. He holds the Seniors Real Estate Specialist (SRES) designation and works with buyers and sellers in 55 and better communities from Dover south, across Kent and Sussex counties.

Mike plans to stay active in real estate for years to come. He enjoys the work, and he likes nothing better than helping a client find the right place to call home.
