Linda grew up in Hyattsville, Maryland graduating from the University of Maryland. She retired from the Smithsonian Environmental Research Center in Edgewater, where she lived and retired as the Education/Docent Work Learn Coordinator.

After 40 years of marriage, her first husband passed away. Linda married Jack Flood in 2007, “and between us we have 5 children and 9 grandchildren!” Linda and Jack relocated from Silver Spring, Maryland to Heritage Shores in Bridgeville.

After 40 years of marriage, her first husband passed away. Linda married Jack Flood in 2007, “and between us we have 5 children and 9 grandchildren!” Linda and Jack relocated from Silver Spring, Maryland to Heritage Shores in Bridgeville.

Linda and Jack chose Delaware because of the low property taxes, no sales tax and that family, a sister & brother, also live in Delaware. The couple needs were met with a hot water/baseboard-heated home on a corner lot and the popular golf course neighborhood’s amenities.

Linda became a REALTOR® in 1995, when she accepted an early retirement wanting a new career that “let me be in charge. We bought our home from Kathy. Afterwards she asked me to transfer my license from MD and be the Resident Agent in Heritage Shores.”

In April, 2011, Linda joined the Active Adults Realty Team. We are fortunate to have Linda at Active Adults Realty. She is our “go-to gal” for property in Heritage Shores, the community where she lives.

Linda volunteers at Nanticoke Hospital, decorates and participates in exercise programs at Heritage Shores Clubhouse. On Linda’s Bucket List are a River Boat Cruise on the Danube River and a Trip to Ireland.
