About Coastal Delaware
Sussex County Rentals
Does it make sense to rent before you buy your Coastal Delaware Home?
Sometimes it’s a good idea to rent for a while. If you are thinking about a move to Delaware but you’re not really that familiar with the area, renting for 6 months to a year is a great way to “try it on” before you make a decision to buy. Or, if you still have a home for sale elsewhere and you don’t feel comfortable buying a new home until your home has sold, renting may make sense. In some cases you can even negotiate a lease/purchase or rent to buy agreement where a certain percentage of your rental payment will be applied to a down payment if you do elect to purchase that particular home.
Every once in a while we become aware of an opportunity to buy a Builder Model and then lease it back to the Builder for use as a model home. The term can be anywhere from one year to three or more years. Not only is this a great investment opportunity, it also works well for you if your move is still several years away.
If the idea of a model purchase/leaseback is appealing to you, let us know. We'll keep you posted.
